Doubles partners do not have to be in the same age bracket.
You can bowl your doubles and singles on the same day or two separate days.
Bowl doubles on one pair of lanes, singles on another pair of lanes.

TOURNAMENT RULES AND ENTRY FORM

  1. This is a 4 person team, doubles, singles and all events tournament, open to all bonafide members of the York - Adams USBC BA, age 50 years and older as of Feb.4, 2012
  2. Multiple participation will be permitted as follows:
    1. Entrants may participate in singles 3 times, but may cash only once.
    2. Entrants may participate in doubles as often as they wish. Entrants may not cash in doubles more than once with the same partner.
    3. No more than two players on one team can place more than once in the prize list for position standings.
    4. In all cases the first entry shall count towards all events.
    5. All entries must be in the hands of the tournament director at least one (1/2) hour before the start of each scheduled squad.
  3. League bowlers must present an USBC Membership card. Non-league bowlers will receive unattached card from tournament director upon payment of $15.00 fee prior to bowling.
  4. Each entry is eligible for one prize only. In the event of ties for award positions, duplicate awards will be given. Prizes and awards are based on handicap scores only.
  5. ENTERING AVERAGES: 2010-2011 Season's highest average, Winter or Summer League, will be used, minimum of 21 games. If a bowler has no 2010-2011 Season average, the bowler’s current 2011-2012 Season's highest average (with 21 or more games at time of bowling) will be used. USBC certified league averages only. All others will bowl scratch. The ten pin provision of USBC rule 319A-2 will not apply.
  6. It shall be each bowler’s responsibility to verify his average. Failure to use proper average or make correction within allotted time shall disqualify their scores, money won and entry fee, if submitted average is lower than actual average. Prize winnings shall be based on the submitted average if it is higher than actual average. (USBC Rule 319A-3)
  7. Participants are cautioned to be familiar with USBC Rule 319C (average adjustment), USBC Rule 319D (reporting of prize winnings) and USBC Rule 319E (average adjustment).
  8. HANDICAP: All entrants will be handicapped by 100% of the difference between their entering average and 220. Handicap for team and doubles events shall be the combined total of individual handicaps.
  1. Bowlers are to check in 30 minutes before scheduled time.

10.  ENTRY IN ALL EVENTS IS OPTIONAL. All events are comprised of first bowled Singles and Doubles scores only.

  1. Remit Total Entry Fees by Check or Money Order, payable to the York-Adams BA. No entries accepted without full entry fees. There will be a $20.00 charge for returned checks.
  2. In addition, all USBC rules apply.
